Twitter reacts as Serge Aurier breaches lockdown for the third time

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur have launched an investigation into Serge Aurier after he appeared to have broken social distancing rules yet again in order to get a haircut.

This is the third time now that the Ivory Coast international has been accused of the same since March. Aurier has previously been forced to apologize twice for breaking lockdown rules. He earlier posted a video of himself running with a friend and also training with Tottenham teammate Moussa Sissoko.

The latest incident came to the spotlight after he posted a picture on Instagram on Tuesday night. It had him showing off his new looks and tagging his stylist Justin Carr in his post.

Aurier did not help matters as he responded to criticism with a further post.

After writing “Bla-bla-bla” followed by several snoozing emojis in a post on Instagram Stories, Aurier wrote:

“My hairdresser is negative and me too so stop talking in a vacuum and put on masks and gloves when you come to take pictures at the training centre it’s part of the rules too”.

The club has confirmed that they are investigating the incident and will deal with it as appropriate. A number of fans have since taken to social media to let know their feelings about the incident. We take a look at a few of them below.
