Son Heung-min is back in Tottenham training after military service

As plans for the restart of the 2019/20 Premier League continue to take shape, Tottenham players have returned to training in small groups from this week.

The club has been constantly sharing images of players going about their training regimes, which has been a sight to revel for fans who have been starved of football for over three months. The likes of Harry Kane, Steven Bergwijn and Moussa Sissoko have all recovered from their injuries and are back in training.

Also back in training is star attacker Son Heung-min. The 27-year-old had been sidelined since February, having fractured his arm in a game against Aston Villa. The suspension of football gave him ample time to complete his recovery, while he also used the hiatus to finish his mandatory three-week military service in South Korea.

Sonny completed the military training with top honours and returned to London last week. He has now been pictured involved in training as the Premier League gears up for a return in mid-June.

Naturally fans were excited to see the 27-year-old back among the thick of things. Here are some of the reactions from our club’s supporters on a picture of Son that the club shared.
