Tottenham fans react to Tanguy Ndombele goal in 11v11 training match
Tanguy Ndombele hasn’t been able to live up to the expectations since joining Tottenham in a club record deal last summer. But ahead of the return of the Premier League, the Frenchman has provided a reason for the fans to get excited.
Tottenham conducted a 11v11 training match at the club’s stadium on Friday as they gear up for the return of the top flight. And Ndombele, during the game, scored a fine goal. The former Olympique Lyon was seen skipping past three opposition players – Harry Winks, Juan Foyth and Jan Vertonghen – before slotting past captain Hugo Lloris in goal.
Tottenham shared the video of the goal scored by Ndombele on social media and fans swarmed into react to the post.

Ndombele, so far this season, has scored two goals and assisted four more in 27 matches for Tottenham. The 23-year-old has shown glimpses of his ability over the course of the season. Should he deliver consistently, he can grow into one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
The Frenchman is looking leaner and sharper in the video and scored a fine goal as well. Let’s hope that he is able to reproduce it when Tottenham restart their campaign against Manchester United later this month.
