The Scottish international has already confirmed that he will not be seeing out the season with relegation-threatened Bournemouth and will leave the club when his contract expires on June 30 after being unable to agree terms on a short-term deal. A new right-back will be high on Spurs’ list of priorities in the summer and Thomas Meunier would be a serviceable option, again on a free transfer. Serge Aurier is still yet to really convince anybody that he is the long-term first choice option at right-back with a number of high-profile mistakes already occurring during his Spurs career. Meunier is an 8/1 shot to join Tottenham, making them the favourite of all the Premier League clubs to capture his signature, although Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are the big 2/5 favourites.
