Tottenham and Atletico Madrid interested in Can Bozdogan
According to a report from Tramsfermarkt (h/t Football.london), Tottenham Hotspur will battle La Liga giants Atletico Madrid in the race to sign Schalke midfield starlet Can Bozdogan.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder came through the youth ranks at FC Koln, before making the switch to Schalke back in 2019. Since then, he has made three senior appearances, although he has largely been involved with the club’s U19 side.
Bozdogan is able to play in the No.10 role, or on the left flank as well. He has also represented the German national team at the U15, U16, U17 and U18 levels.

Bozdogan still has two years left on his current contract with FC Schalke 04. A talented youngster, the German youth international can be a good investment with an eye on the future.
Of late, a number of young players have been linked with a switch to Spurs. It is being claimed that we are close to signing Alfie Devine from Wigan Athletic, while we have also made an inquiry for another Wigan youngster, Sean McGurk.
