The agent of Nicolo Zaniolo keen to give an answer to Tottenham hotspur interest

According to Sky Italia (h/t Football.london), The agent of Nicolo Zaniolo, Claudio Vigorelli is keen to open negotiations regarding a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 21-year-old Zaniolo is one of the most coveted young footballers in the Italian top-flight. He made the switch to Roma from Inter Milan in 2018 and has gone on to further enhance his burgeoning reputation.

The youngster has attracted attention from Tottenham, who have been long-term admirers. Spurs were keen on bringing Zaniolo to North London last summer but failed. (h/t The Sun)

As per the report, Vigorelli was in attendance as Roma stars returned to training ahead of the 2020/21 campaign. His presence was to work out a potential move to Spurs.

Roma for their part are keen to keep the player. They have also informed the player’s agent that they have no intention to sell their prized asset.

This is in line with a report by BeIN sports report Tancredi Palmer (h/t The Sun) which states that Spurs have had a £45million offer turned down for Zaniolo.

With four years to go on his current deal, Roma find themselves in a strong position when it comes to negotiations. Zaniolo has made 69 appearances, while scoring 14 goals and 6 assists. He is also the youngest Italian to score a brace in the UEFA Champions League. (h/t BBC)

A versatile player capable of plating a variety of positions, Zaniolo still gives us a number of options going forward. His ability to regularly find the back of the net would have also eased the pressure on our forwards.

As of now, Zaniolo looks set to stay put in the Italian capital. It will be a shame if we cannot secure the youngster’s signature.
