PSG open talks to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli
According to an exclusive from The Telegraph, French champions Paris Saint-Germain have entered into negotiations over the potential transfer of Dele Alli.
The 24-year-old England international’s future at Tottenham has become a hot topic of discussion after a second straight matchday squad snub on Sunday.
Alli, after being subbed off at half-time against Everton on the opening day, has been left out of the 18-man squad for both of Tottenham’s subsequent fixtures against Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Southampton. The Englishman is said to have been left ‘upset and confused’ by the snub. (h/t The Telegraph)
This has led to speculations that things are not all too well between Alli and manager Jose Mourinho, and that the player could be on his way out this summer. PSG are among a number of clubs whose interest has been piqued by this sudden development. (h/t Sky Sports)
And, it is now being claimed that the French champions have opened talks with Alli’s representatives over the possibility of a summer transfer. (h/t The Telegraph)
Jose Mourinho was coy when quizzed about the future of the England international on Sunday. However, it is being claimed that Tottenham will not look to sell Alli, but a loan exit could still be on the cards for the former MK Dons ace. (h/t Sky Sports)

Alli’s form has been on a downslide over the last year or so. While he did show signs of improvement early into Jose’s tenure, the fact that he is been left out of the squad for back-to-back matches doesn’t bode well.
It remains to be seen how this story develops in the coming weeks.
