Tottenham Hotspur injury update ahead of the clash against West Ham United

According to Football.london, Tottenham Hotspur are sweating on the fitness of two stars ahead of the derby against West Ham United next week.

Jose Mourinho’s side got off to the worst of starts when they lost the season opener against Everton. However, things have picked up with the players putting up one excellent performance after the other.

The highlight so far has to be last Sunday’s 6-1 hammering of Manchester United at Old Trafford. The result, in many ways, flatters United as we were easily the most dominant team on the pitch.

New signings such as Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg and Sergio Reguilon have hit the ground running. Meanwhile, the usual suspects’ Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min continue to impress.

There is still more to come with a couple of key players out injured. Both Gareth Bale and Giovani Lo Celso are not expected to be fit in time for our clash against the Hammers. (h/t Football.london)

Bale arrived injured from Real Madrid. Fans will, however, have to wait a while before they can feast their eyes on the prodigal son in action for Spurs once again. No return date has been set for the Welshman’s return but Moutinho remains hopeful that it happens sooner rather than later. There is no date set for his return. While Lo Celso has played a limited role so far this season, his availability will give Mourinho more options. (h/t Football.london)
