Tottenham Hotspur fans react as Carlos Vinicius enjoys fruitful debut

The signing of Carlos Vinicius in the summer addressed a key weakness in the Tottenham Hotspur squad.

The Brazilian’s arrival finally gave us cover in the striker’s position. While Harry Kane remains the undisputable first choice, the lack of options behind him has always been a concern.

A clinical player in his own right, Vinicius finished last season at Benfica as the league’s top scorer. The season-long loan with an option to buy looks to be a shrewd deal indeed.

Vinicius made his Spurs debut yesterday night in the Europa League fixture against LASK. While he may not have gotten on the scoresheet, he showcased just how effective he can be leading the line.

The Brazilian grabbed two assists as Spurs romped home to a 3-0 win. He did have an opportunity to score himself, but could not see it through.

The striker has enjoyed a good start to life at Spurs. Hopefully, this is just the start of things to come. We take a look at how fans reacted to the news.
