Tottenham face Everton, Inter Milan competition in the race for Arkadiusz Milik

According to The Sun (h/t Daily Star), Everton have entered the race to sign Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, who is a target for both Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan.

Milik has been with Napoli since 2016 and has been an impressive performer for the Serie A outfit. Till date, he has featured 113 times for the club, scoring 47 goals. The 26-year-old featured 34 times across all competitions in the 2019/20 campaign, bagging 14 goals in the process.

In the final year of his contract with the Serie A giants, Milik had been heavily linked with an exit in the summer, with Tottenham touted as one of the potential destinations for the striker. However, a move failed to materialise with Spurs instead signing Carlos Vinicius on loan, while Milik stayed put at Napoli.

Milik has not featured in a single game in the new campaign for the Partenopei and continues to be linked with an exit in January. Everton are one of the clubs lining up to make a move for the Poland international, with manager Carlo Ancelotti an admirer of the striker’s abilities. (h/t Daily Star)

But Tottenham remain interested in the 26-year-old, while the same goes for Inter Milan, who are also eyeing a January swoop for the Polish striker. (h/t Daily Star)

Considering that he is in the final months of his contract, Everton believe an offer of £10m could be enough to convince Napoli to part ways with Milik. However, the interest from Spurs and Inter could drive the price higher. (h/t Daily Star)

While Vinicius has arrived to cover for Kane, the Brazilian is only on loan till the end of the season. And while we can make his transfer permanent at the end of the season, the club shouldn’t let the chance of signing a proven striker like Milik, on a bargain price, pass by.
