Tottenham face Atletico Madrid competition for Dominik Szoboszlai
According to a report from Eurosport, as relayed by Daily Mail, Tottenham will have to face fresh competition from Atletico Madrid apart from Arsenal, AC Milan and RB Leipzig, in the race to sign Dominik Szoboszlai.
The 20-year-old has fastly established himself as one of the most sought-after young midfielders in Europe, putting up some sensational performances for Austrian outfit RB Salzburg over the past couple of years.
So far, the Hungarian international has featured 78 times for the club scoring 25 goals and registering 33 assists. Szoboszlai has been in brilliant form in the 2020/21 campaign so far, racking up eight goals and nine assists in 17 appearances across all competitions. (h/t Transfermarkt)

Szoboszlai is certainly a special talent and adding him to our ranks would have been quite the coup. However, given the intense competition and Leipzig’s relationship with Salzburg could mean that the 20-year-old might not be coming to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
