Jose Mourinho hails Harry Kane and Son Heung-min after Arsenal win

As reported by the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has lavished praise on star forwards Harry Kane and Son Heung-min for the efforts in the win against Arsenal.

Tottenham ran out comfortable 2-0 winners in the first North London Derby of the 2020/21 season with Kane and Son scoring and assisting one goal apiece on Sunday evening.

While the duo’s contribution at the top was critical, both the forwards worked their socks off when not in possession, ensuring that Arsenal hardly got a sniff of our goal.

“(They are) working like animals – I have all the respect for animals, I love animals, don’t get me wrong – but working amazingly hard when the team didn’t have the ball. “This is not just about scoring goals and being world-class players, they are great guys, great professionals that give everything for the team.”

Kane and Son have combined together for 12 Premier League goals this season, with their partnership proving to be the chief driving force behind our strong start to the season.

Following the win against Arsenal, Tottenham reclaimed top spot in the league standings. With a series of tricky fixtures against the likes of Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Leicester City coming up, we will need the duo to continue firing on all cylinders.
