Tottenham fans react to drawing Brentford in the Carabao Cup semi-finals
Tottenham have learnt their opponents for the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup. Jose Mourinho and his men will be facing off EFL Championship outfit Brentford for a place in the finals at Wembley.
Tottenham saw off Chelsea in the fourth round of the competition before beating Stoke City 3-1 on Wednesday night, with goals coming from Gareth Bale, Ben Davies and Harry Kane.
With Manchester City and Manchester United also making it to the last four, we could have drawn either of them. And although we’ve beaten both teams already this term, Brentford represents an easier tie.

However, Mourinho & co. cannot afford to take the Bees lightly, considering that they have eliminated four Premier League teams on their way to the semis. Indeed, the second division outfit have seen off challenges from Southampton, West Bromwich Albion, Fulham and most recently, Newcastle United.
Fans were pleased to learn the draw but took to social media to urge the team to tread carefully and not take Brentford lightly in the semi-final fixture.

Brentford are a decent side and would probably have wanted us too… it’s a good draw but far from a gimme.
