Juventus urged to swap Paulo Dybala for Harry Kane by Fabio Capello

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Mirror), former England manager Fabio Capello has urged Juventus to consider swapping forward Paulo Dybala for Tottenham superstar Harry Kane.

The 27-year-old Dybala has been linked with an exit from Juventus as he has been in and out of the starting XI and his contract expires in eighteen months. In fact, reports claimed that his services had been offered to a host of clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur.

There have also been claims that Dybala could be headed to Manchester United, with Juventus looking to work out a swap deal involving him and Paul Pogba. (h/t Mirror)

Capello, who has managed Juventus in the past, has advised the club against such a move though. Instead, the Italian tactician has insisted that if the club wanted to swap Dybala for anyone, it should be Tottenham star Harry Kane.

“I said I wouldn’t swap Dybala to get Pogba. If I could, I’d trade him with Tottenham’s English striker Harry Kane.”

It is no secret that Dybala is an admired figure at Tottenham, with the club having come close to signing him in the past. And moving for him, if he is made available in the transfer market, would certainly be appealing. However, the possibility of a swap deal involving Kane is nigh on impossible to happen.

Kane is one of our best and most important players. The England captain has been in red-hot form this season, scoring goals as well as chipping with plenty of assists. With the team looking like going places under Jose Mourinho, there is no reason for the striker to consider leaving.
