Tottenham monitoring Juventus youngster Radu Dragusin

According to Sport Witness (h/t Football.london), Tottenham are said to be keeping a watch on Juventus youngster Radu Dragusin. He is out of contract in the summer which has led to speculation about his future. Newcastle are also said to be keeping tabs on him.

Tottenham still need defensive reinforcements

Following their double capitulation against Everton and Manchester City where they conceded 8 goals in total, it is clear as to why Mourinho is keen on adding to his defensive resources. The likes of Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld, Japhet Tanganga haven’t really set the bar high with their performances.

New recruit Joe Rodon still remains a work in progress but it is clear that another defender should be on the priority list for Spurs come the end of this season. More so, they need younger options which can be long-term additions to the side.

Radu Dragusin represents a very good opportunity

Juventus are trying their level best to reach some sort of solution regarding Dragusin’s contract situation. They have planned several meetings with the 19-year-old Romanian but with so many clubs such as Spurs, Newcastle and RB Leipzig interested in him, it has made things complicated for the Italian giants.

19-year-old Dragusin is seen as more of a long-term signing for Jose Mourinho. But given how much he has impressed in the limited outings for Juve, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him being thrust into first-team action straightaway provided the club is able to sign him up.
