Jose Mourinho says Harry Kane should be happy at Tottenham

According to Daily Mail, Jose Mourinho has told Harry Kane to be happy at Tottenham. There have been exit links for the striker in recent weeks and with several other factors, Kane could be looking at moving away from the club.

The 27-year-old is staring at the possibility of a second season in a row without Champions League football. In addition, the lack of silverware at Tottenham has time and again been cited as a reason for him to consider a switch.

Kane, for the longest time, has been admired by Manchester United while Manchester City have also joined the race for the England captain as they hunt for a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero. The Argentine will be leaving the Etihad Stadium when his current contract with the club runs out at the end of the season.

Furthermore, the 27-year-old is also courting interest from La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid as well. However, manager Jose Mourinho has told his striker to be happy at the club and not seek a move away.

‘I think he’s living a good period – he’s doing well for club and country and ahead of him until the end of the season he has nice challenges: the final to play, the Premier League to fight for every point, then a Euros with the possibility to play a final at Wembley. I think he has to be happy with the moment he’s living.’
