As confirmed by the club’s official site, Tottenham Hotspur fans will be in attendance when the club takes on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on 25 April.

Spurs take on defending champions in one of the club’s biggest games in recent history. A win on the night will not just buy Jose Mourinho breathing space but put an end to our 13-year wait for a trophy.

The Wembley showpiece will be attended by 8,000 spectators in total, with City and Spurs having an allocation as well as NHS staff. The exact numbers, however, are yet to be revealed. Although it is a fraction of the stadium’s capacity, having the fans back to support us will be a massive boost for the players.

The delayed final has been picked as part of the Government’s Events Research Programme. It and could have an impact on the number of supporters allowed at Euro 2020 this summer.

Hopefully, the event will go off without a hitch and pave the way for more fans to return in the matches to come this year. Football has not been the same without fans and one as closely connected to them as Spurs, it is all the more apparent.
