Transfer News: Tottenham could allow Lucas Moura to leave in the summer
According to transfer news from Football.london, Tottenham could allow Lucas Moura to depart the club next season. The Brazilian could be let go if an appropriate offer comes in as Spurs are hoping to raise some funds for new signings.
The 28-year-old Brazilian has had a difficult 2020/21 season so far, having been in and out of the team for a while now. However, Moura has shown some signs of form, albeit in patches. While he may not always contribute with goals or assists, the former PSG man is never shy of putting in a shift and working for his teammates.
It has been one of Spurs’ more disappointing seasons in the Premier League as well as Europe. The team will have to look to regroup in the offseason to figure out the best path. This means we’ve to find a new manager, deal with the Harry Kane situation, and also raise funds for new transfers.
Among the surprise names that Spurs might consider selling is Lucas Moura. It’s not that they want to go out of their way to do so but they will consider any offer made for him. The Brazilian has attracted suitors in the past that Spurs have shooed away but they will look at any such offers if they arrive in the summer.
