Tottenham ace Lucas Moura attracting interest from multiple clubs claims Fabrizio Romano
Speaking on the latest episode of the Here We Go Podcast, reputed journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Tottenham winger Lucas Moura is attracting interest from several Arabic clubs ahead of the summer window.
Lucas has been with Tottenham since January 2018, having signed from Paris Saint-Germain. While he has been a regular fixture in the starting XI for the Lilywhites, the 28-year-old hasn’t always been a consistent performer. To date, he has 32 goals and 19 assists in over 150 appearances for Spurs.
Although, he did enjoy a decent 2020/21 season, finishing with nine goals and eight assists across all competitions. (h/t Transfermarkt)
Heading into the new campaign, though, Lucas could be staring at an uncertain future at Tottenham with reports last month claiming that the club would be open to selling him this summer.
And now, Romano has claimed that if he is indeed put up for sale, Lucas has quite a few suitors from the Middle East.
“But talking about Tottenham, just to clarify, keep an eye on Lucas Moura because there are some Arabic clubs asking for him. So let’s see what happens. But it depends on the manager also what kind of tactics they are going to have next season.”

At 28, Lucas is entering the peak years of his career. However, the Brazilian has the tendency to blow hot and blow cold, something that has hurt Tottenham in the past.
But with his contract still having three years, it is hard to see any club willing to shell out the big bucks to sign him this summer.
