Tottenham chairman wants £150m or more Man City target Harry Kane
According to Eurosport, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is standing firm on his stance of wanting at least £150m for star striker Harry Kane amid Man City interest.
Kane’s future at Tottenham has become a huge topic of speculation for a couple of months now. The 27-year-old has emerged as a top transfer target for Manchester City as they look to replace Sergio Aguero, who departed for Barcelona on a free transfer. (h/t Eurosport)
Daniel Levy, though, is unlikely to yield that easily. Known as one of the toughest negotiators in the transfer market, the Tottenham chairman is insistent that any deal for his star striker will only be considered if an offer of £150m or more is made. Otherwise, he will not entertain any approach from any club.
This comes after Levy seemed to issue Kane a warning over his transfer in a recent interview when he claimed that he will decide what is best for the club.
“But obviously there is a market out there and what we want, and what somebody else wants, is not always possible to achieve. We will do whatever is right for the club.”
Such a stance could price Manchester City out of a move for Kane, with the aforementioned report claiming that the newly-crowned Premier League champions are already drawing up a list of alternatives for such a scenario.

Kane is currently away on international duty with England at the UEFA Euro 2020 but insisted that “stuff will happen” once the tournament is done. But with Levy unyielding on his stance, this could turn out to be a long drawn-out saga this summer.
