Inter Milan join the race for Tottenham target Dusan Vlahovic
According to the Express, Inter Milan seem to have joined the race for Tottenham target Dusan Vlahovic. Fiorentina are said to have received a bid for the striker already from Inter but it has been rejected. The race for the prolific Serbian is heating up now.
Spurs and Inter Milan are in similar situations. For Spurs, it is Harry Kane who wants to leave the club and Manchester City have been touted as the most likely destination. For Inter, it is Romelu Lukaku. Although, it is Chelsea who are said to be after the big Belgian. It would seem that both clubs want the same player to replace their frontmen. (h/t Express)
The 21-year-old had a breakthrough season in Serie A last term, piling in 21 goals in 37 games. He was the fourth-highest scorer over the season, only being topped by the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lukaku himself and Luis Muriel. The Serbian forward has been courted by Spurs for quite a while now, earmarked to replace harry Kane.
Now, it has come to the fore that Inter Milan have not only shown interest in Valhovic but also made a bid for him. However, it would seem that the £45m bid has been rejected by Fiorentina. It points to the fact that a higher amount will be required to prise away the Serbian from Fiorentina.

Tottenham need to act fast and wisely now. Inter are very likely to go after the player again if Lukaku does indeed make the move to Chelsea. Also, Spurs will now have to stump up way more than the offer Inter sent in and had rejected. It does represent a significant investment, spending so much on Valahovic but it could be a worthwhile move.
