Manchester City have 99 percent chance of signing Tottenham star Harry Kane
According to the Express, Manchester City have been given a 99 percent chance of signing Tottenham star Harry Kane by ESPN journalist Mark Ogden. The Premier League champions could now turn their attention to Kane after the signing of Jack Grealish.
When Kane spoke out earlier last season that he wants to leave the club in search of trophies, not many expected things to escalate to this point. The striker was apparently supposed to link up with the side post the Euros but failed to report for training through the week. Kane was finally expected to make it back today to training after his quarantine. (h/t Express)
Man City have emerged as the most likely destination despite Spurs reiterating that Kane is not for sale. Manager Pep Guardiola also spoke about the same and pretty much confirmed their interest in the striker. He claimed that if the player is available City as well and other clubs will definitely try to go after him.
And, Mark Ogden of ESPN has the belief that there is a 99 percent chance that City will sign Kane.
“I think it will happen. 99 per cent [chance of happening]. I think it will happen. I think ultimately Spurs will know this is a great chance to get a big fee for Kane. You don’t want a player that’s not happy. It’s just they’ve got to get it done before it’s too late to replace him. They can’t replace him properly but replace him sufficiently.”

Things are not looking great for Spurs in this transfer saga. Kane has not given any sort of indication that he wants to remain at the club beyond the summer. City are very likely to come after him despise that massive outlay on Grealish. For now, the only option Spurs have is to get as much as they can for him.
