Bayern Munich propose Corentin Tolisso- Tangoy Ndombele swap to Tottenham
According to Sky Sports (h/t Express), Bayern Munich have proposed a swap deal to Tottenham which could see Corentin Tolisso and Tanguy Ndombele switch clubs. Bayern are also said to be offering an additional sum of £17.17m. Talks have been going on between the two teams but Spurs have rejected the offer.
It’s hard to say what exactly has gone wrong for Tanguy Ndombele because he sure looked like a good fit for the club back then. A dynamic and energetic midfielder, the Frenchman was making waves at Lyon. Yet, it has all gone a bit awry in the last two years as he can’t seem to break into any manager’s team.
Now, under Nuno Espirito Santo, things have been no different. So far, he is yet to kick the ball this season as Nuno spoke about his attitude and willingness. He felt that the player was not doing enough to warrant a spot in the XI or the squad. Amidst all that, Bayern have supposedly come to the rescue.
The Bavarian giants want to offer a cash sum of £17.17million and Corentin Tolisso in a player plus cash swap. Talks are still on between both clubs but Spurs are said to have rejected that offer. Tolisso is a similar case to Ndombele but it’s his injuries that have kept him out of action for most of his time in Munich.

Spurs were perhaps wise in turning down that offer. Ndombele is still a talented midfielder on his day and some help behind the scenes can jolt him into for. Not to criticize Tolisso but his injury troubles are probably the last thing Spurs need at a time when the club is starting afresh.
