Tottenham duo Nuno Espirito Santo and Eric Dier nominated for Premier League awards
Tottenham have two nominees for August’s Premier League awards with Nuno Espirito Santo and Eric Dier (h/t official site). Dier has been nominated for the Player of the Month category while Nuno is among the managerial names up for the award.
It’s hard not to be optimistic about Spurs right now. After all, this is one of the best starts to a season the club could have asked for after a seemingly limp previous season. With three wins from three in the league, August was phenomenal for the side and it gets even better as there are individual awards up for grabs for two of our names.

First of all, Eric Dier is up for the Player of the Month award (h/t official site). He has had a terrific start to the season partnering with Davinson Sanchez at the back for Spurs. Three clean sheets mean that he is among the six names to be nominated for the award. Marcos Alonso, Michail Antonio, Said Benrahma, Demarai Gray and Mason Greenwood are the other names he will compete against.
Our new manager is also off to a flying start, recording three wins on the trot. He is up for the Manager of the Month award (h/t official site) after this blistering start and is the only one with a 100% win record. Other names up for the award are Thomas Tuchel, Rafael Benitez and David Moyes.
