Tottenham add Tanguy Ndombele to UEFA Europa Conference League squad
Tottenham have included out-of-favour midfielder Tanguy Ndombele to their UEFA Conference League squad (h/t UEFA official site). The Frenchman is a part of the 25-man senior list as Spurs participate for the first time in the inaugural edition of the competition.
Tottenham seemingly cannot find a solution for the problem that is Tanguy Ndombele. The midfielder was once one of the hottest prospects in the game to arrive from Lyon and after an initial period of adjustment, he fell out of favour when Jose Mourinho took charge. He had to work his way back into the side after that.
Now, he finds himself out of favour with new manager Nuno Santo as well. Quite what seems to be the problem is unclear but it says something that he is yet to play even a single game this season. He was also gunning for an exit in the summer but a move was not possible. That left him with the sole option of having to stay back.
It would seem that the player is going to be given a chance to work his way back into the side. Tottenham confirmed their squad for the Europa Conference League group stages and Ndombele was listed among the 25-man senior list of players. The competition kicks off this week and it could be there that Ndombele starts to make a comeback.

On his day, Ndombele can dance around the opposition to win games for Spurs. However, those days are too few and far in between. This extension of an olive branch needs to be taken up by Ndombele to get back into the side. Patience will likely be wearing thin if he does not start changing things up.
