[Images] Tottenham stars pictured training as the international break goes on

Tottenham will be cautiously optimistic at this stage of the season. They managed to win all three of their league outings in August meaning they are top of the table. Post that, the international break was on and a host of Spurs stars went to their respective nations to play the WC Qualifiers, while the Tottenham players who stayed back continue training at the club’s Hotspur Way facility.

While it’s not been the best of times for the club with several injuries and other issues, the break will give Nuno Espirito Santo some time to reflect on the start he has had to the season. A total of five games have been played and the break will give him a chance to try out some new tactics or look into the possible areas of improvement.

Despite a number of players away with their countries, there were still a good number of players that were available for training. The biggest takeaway from the photos released is that new signing Emerson Royal got a chance to integrate with the side for the first time since his move from Barcelona.

A host of youth players were also included in the sessions as they get some valuable first-team experience. The likes of Malachi Fagan-Walcott, Yago Santiago, Josh Oluwayemi, Matthew Craig and Brandon Austin were seen going through the drills.

Several first-team stars such as Eric Dier, Dele Alli, Lucas Moura, Harry Winks and co. on were also pictured. Another interesting thing was to see Tanguy Ndombele in action given he is yet to play a minute this season.
