“My manager”- Some Tottenham fans react as Nuno is named PL Manager of the Month

Fans React as Nuno Espirito Santo is named Premier League Manager of the Month

Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo has been adjudged as the Premier League Manager of the Month (h/t official Spurs website). The Portuguese boasted a stellar record of three wins out of three games with three clean sheets. No other manager had the same record.

It has been a stellar August for Spurs. After some much-needed boost with transfers, they needed some results on the pitch. They got some and more. The opening day saw them take on Manchester City and rather surprisingly, our opponents could not do much to prevent a loss. Spurs were off with a win.

The next two games saw narrow wins over Watford and Wolves. Same 1-0 wins with clean sheets as a bonus. Spurs finished top of the fable before the international break commenced. The effect to Nuno was there to see in the games where Spurs held their own with a narrow lead.

Nuno becomes the eighth ever manager to win the accolade. A Spurs manager is winning the prize after Jose Mourinho won it back in November last year (h/t official site). This will be a good boost to the morale for Spurs to return to action against Crystal Palace.

Here is how the Spurs fans reacted to hearing the news.
