Tottenham fans overjoyed to see Tanguy Ndombele back against Rennes
Tottenham have announced their starting XI to face Rennes and the biggest takeaway was the return of Tanguy Ndombele. The Frenchman who is yet to play a minute of football this season has been trusted to start the game as Nuno Espirito Santo rang a barrage of changes.

Spurs have not take Rennes lightly as the lineup would suggest. The likes of Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and co have been handed starts. However, there are changes elsewhere with the likes of Pierluigi Gollini, Matt Doherty, Steven Bergwijn and Bryan Gil coming in.
Tanganga will be able to play as the suspension from the red card will not carry over to this competition. Joe Rodon has been handed a start as well alongside Ben Davies. A number of youth players such as Dane Scarlett and Fagan Walcott are on the bench. Nuno has gone in with a very attacking lineup, sacrificing the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

However, the headline has been Ndombele making a comeback to the side after making the bench on the weekend. This will be the first time he features in a game for Nuno Santo this season. He will be hoping to put in a good shift and show what Spurs have been missing. Fans were far too excited to see the Frenchman come into the side after so long.

Might just have a chance of winning. Ndombele, Gil, Lucas and Bergwijn behind Kane should mean a good amount of creativity IF they are allowed to be creative that is #coys #Levyout

Nuno saw that Palace performance and threw every single available attacker on at the same time😭

Ndombele 😍🥰. Would have started Emerson & Scarlett instead of Doherty and Kane respectively.
