Tottenham Hotspur have made it in the top 15 of the elite list of clubs across Europe in latest UEFA club rankings

According to UEFA’s five-year club rankings (h/t Mirror), Tottenham Hotspur are currently in 13th position in the table consisting of Europe’s top teams.

Tottenham Hotspur have rued a lack of playing opportunities in Europe in the last few seasons. Their last substantial impact in Europe’s top club competition was the final in 2019 under Mauricio Pochetino which they lost to Liverpool FC.

The club has gone through quite a few changes in hierarchy and managers since that time with Nuno Espirito Santo currently at the helm. Spurs are currently sitting in 13th position in this list even though their presence in Europe seems to have diminished in the last couple of seasons.

The Lilywhites are playing in the UEFA Europa Conference League this season, but have endured an indifferent start to that competition as well. They managed to edge past their London rivals Arsenal who are currently placed in 14th position and do not even have the luxury of playing European football this season.

The Portuguese manager has gotten off to an indifferent start to life at Tottenham. heir star striker Harry Kane has struggled to get going this season. To top it all the Lilywhites have lost all their London derbies in the PL this campaign. It seems as though the former Wolves coach is still taking his time to settle at the club but the gap between the other English clubs and Tottenham shows that there is still a lot of catching up to do.
