Transfer News: Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici discuss Tottenham Hotspur signing Dusan Vlahovic
According to Alfredo Pedulla (h/t Express), Antonio Conte has already discussed the possibility of signing Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina with Tottenham Hotspur sporting director Fabio Paratici.
Seria A fans have become awestruck by Vlahovic’s performances in the last 18 months. The ACF Fiorentina striker has become one of the best young goalscorers in the world and continues to rack up the numbers.
The confirmation of Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso about a denial of a renewal deal from Vlahovic has only sparked fire to news of his availability in the transfer market.
The I Gigliati president accepted that they offered a hefty sum that would see the 21-years-old player becoming the highest-paid player in the club’s history. But the denial reflects that his interests lie somewhere else.
Antonio Conte took the Tottenham job after spending two seasons with Inter Milan. So he had a closer view of the capabilities of the Fiorentina striker.
It is believed that after becoming the Tottenham manager, Conte is keen to add the 21-year-old to his roster. The Italian manager ‘has discussed’ the possible scenarios of securing the deal with the sporting director of the North London club, Paratici.
