Loan Watch: A look at Tottenham Hotspur loanees and how have they been fared away from the Lane

According to Football.London, Tottenham Hotspur loanees has had a mixed time during their loan tenure at their respective clubs. They are spread across Europe in various football leagues and are hoping to have a future under Antonio Conte.

There are seven players out on loans currently and, some of them have struggled to gain minutes this week. Pape Matar Sarr got back into the starting lineup for Metz after he had to be content with a substitute role in the last few weeks.

Sarr played the full 90 minutes and helped his side to a 3-3 draw with Bordeaux while being deployed in a defensive midfield role. Another youngster, Troy Parrott had missed this week’s game against Burton Albion, where MK Dons won 1-0. He had to miss the game due to Covid-19 protocols after returning from international duty for the Republic of Ireland.

Carter-Vickers is a product of the Tottenham academy.

The 19-year-old has impressed in his loan spell so far and has picked up four goals and assist each from 14 appearances. Cameron Carter-Vickers is another loanee who has had a great time at his loan club. Playing for Celtic, he could earn silverware as he has helped them to the final of the Scottish League Cup.

He was recently involved against St Johnstone and has played the full 90 minutes as his team won by 1-0. He has featured in nine league games this season and has completed the match from the starting lineup.

Meanwhile, Kion Etete has scored three goals in five matches for Northampton Town but had to be taken off after taking an elbow to the face. He had made a great impression in the first half but had to be brought off.

J’Neil Bennett has also made a mark at Crewe Alexandra but is currently out with a hamstring injury. Jamie Bowden missed the game this week due to suspension after starting the last six games for Oldham Athletic.
