Fabrizio Romano: Harry Kane has a great relationship with Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur
According to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Harry Kane is untouchable at Tottenham Hotspur and has a great relationship with new manager Antonio Conte.
The centre-forward has now scored in back to back league games for the first time this season with his strikes against Liverpool and Crystal Palace. One of the finest strikers in world football, he appears to be on his way back to the top.
Romano has revealed that Fabio Paratici eyed Conte to be the Tottenham boss in order to help with the Kane situation. The 28-year-old was involved in a failed summer transfer saga where he wanted to move to Manchester City. Since then, he has looked a shadow of his former self under Nuno Espirito Santo, which prompted Paratici to look at the Italian coach once Nuno Espirito Santo got dismissed.
The transfer guru has added that the 52-year-old told the England captain how he wants to build the project at N-17 around the striker. The revelation that both manager and star striker have a “more than good” relationship will be music to the ears of the Tottenham supporters.
Case closed?
There was always a concern in our minds about how the situation regarding Kane would develop in the coming transfer windows. It would appear that matters are moving in the right direction.
This news that all is fine with the English skipper is also something that could create harmony within the team. With no unnecessary distractions to derail us, Spurs can now focus purely on having a great season on the field.
With our form picking up, Kane will hopefully have enough opportunities to win the trophies he desires at Tottenham. If that does transpire, there will be little need for him to seek a transfer elsewhere.
The Spurs manager has already proved multiple times that he can succeed if there is proper backing by the management and the players. The England international appears to have regained his scoring touch and will hopefully go on a goal spree now.

We could still have a chance at attaining trophies, especially the cup competitions this season, while also having a great league campaign. If we could win the pending three games in hand, we would be just three points behind Chelsea.
While we are not getting ahead of ourselves, looking at the improvements we have shown, the chances of a top-three finish are not impossible currently. Kane’s return to form could be the impetus that drives the team forward.
