Tottenham Hotspur battle Ajax Amsterdam for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson
According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur will face off against Ajax Amsterdam to facilitate a move for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson ahead of the summer transfer window. He has struggled to earn minutes this season and is behind David de Gea in the Red Devils pecking order.
Henderson has been thought to be a potential successor to De Gea in certain situations. But it seems that is not enough to keep hold of the former as he is displeased with life at Old Trafford. He has been frustrated by his failure to get back into the starting spot, paving the way for a potential departure.
Henderson is claimed to be considering his future options at the moment and could leave Man United in the summer transfer window. Both Tottenham and Erik ten Hag’s side are keen on securing his services, so it remains to be seen how his situation would develop in the coming months.
Can Spurs sign Henderson?
We have some difficulties that the Eredivisie side will not face when it comes to pursuing the 25-year-old. After all, we are one of the direct rivals of the Red Devils, and they could simply decide not to entertain offers from our side while listening to the proposals from the Dutch club.
