Leicester City have a firm interest in Tottenham Hotspur target Charles De Ketelaere
According to Leicestershire Live, Leicester City has a firm interest to facilitate a move for Tottenham Hotspur target Charles De Ketelaere after they scouted him ahead of this summer. He is one of the highly-rated talents alongside Noa Lang in Club Brugge at this moment and would be a great prospect for any team to have.
De Ketelaere still has two years left in his current contract, but he could be in line to depart Jan Breydel Stadium after this season. Leicester have already been interested in his services, but they have strengthened their pursuit after analysing him ahead of a potential move. Phillippe Pelluault, a scout dedicated to France and Belgium, did the assessment, after which they became assured of the forward.
Tottenham are also in the fray, but they also face competition from several other Premier League clubs. Chelsea and West Ham United are keeping tabs on the 21-year-old as well ahead of the summer transfer window. He could be sold for a fee of around £33million, which seems to be a steal for someone of his potential.
Can Spurs sign Ketelaere?
Despite starting his career as an attacking midfielder, the Belgian has been converted into a centre-forward this campaign and has impressed really well as well. Not to mention, he still possesses the flexibility to be utilised in several positions, which is always a bonus to have.
The Belgian has 17 goals and nine assists to his name this term from 41 matches across all competitions. He seems ready to take the next step in his career, and a move to N17 could be perfect for him under the circumstances.
After all, the Club Brugge attacker can play as an understudy to Harry Kane, who will take the attention away from the youngster. That means the exciting prospect can take his time to develop into a future superstar under the guidance of Antonio Conte and Kane, for example.
We are desperate for additions in the striker department since Kane is the only choice at this moment. De Ketelaere could be a perfect solution as his valuation is not too expensive, and we can recoup that amount should he attain his full potential moving forward.

It is no surprise to see the Foxes solidify their interest in the Belgian international ahead of the summer transfer window. For that reason, we need to step up our efforts as well so that we do not get leapfrogged by the competition in this transfer race.
The Blues and West Ham would also pose heavy competition, but we have to beat them off and get our hands on the talented striker. Only time will give us an answer whether we will sign him or not in this summer transfer window.
