Twitter reaction: Fans react as Tottenham Hotspur record spectacular victory against Newcastle United

Tottenham Hotspur secured an impressive victory against Newcastle United, having now won their last three matches on the trot in the Premier League. The Lilywhites seem to have really gotten into their stride as the win against the Magpies places them in fourth position on the PL table at the moment.

The Tyneside-based club opened the scoring in the 39th minute via a lightning-quick freekick from Fabian Schar. Spurs were quick to react as Ben Davies got us on level terms with a clinical header in the 43rd minute.

That goal from the Welsh international set the stage for what would become a goal-fest in the second half. Matt Doherty managed to bundle the ball in the back of the net in the 48th minute. Son Heung-Min then managed to put the ball past Martin Dubravaka another time in the 54th minute as Dejan Kulusevski put it on a plate for the Korean international.

The North Londoners were in no mood to stop after that as Emerson Royal managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 63rd minute. The Lilywhites added another to their tally in the 83rd minute as Steven Bergwijn calmly slotted the ball past the 33-year-old goalkeeper.

The Dutch international has made quite the name for himself as an impact sub in recent times. Despite not getting on the scoresheet themselves Kulusevski and Harry Kane also put in brilliant performances as their vision and passing put the visitors on the back foot throughout the game.

Some fans react as Tottenham Hotspur convincingly down Newcastle United in an action-packed game

The hopes of a top-four finish in the PL seem to be within touching distance at the moment and hopefully, Antonio Conte can guide this group of players to the UEFA Champions League next campaign.

That being said, the supporters would certainly be happy with the kind of performances our team has displayed off late. We can finally see an imprint of the attacking and intense brand of football that has become synonymous with the Italian manager.
