Middlesbrough star Djed Spence wants Tottenham Hotspur transfer move this summer
According to The Athletic, Middlesbrough star Djed Spence has made up his mind to move to Tottenham Hotspur in this summer transfer window. He has attracted a host of attention from several clubs following his impressive loan spell with Nottingham Forest in the last campaign.
Despite being contracted with Boro until 2024, it looks like Spence is in line to leave them ahead of the next season. Tottenham are one of the sides that are actively pursuing to secure his signature, and now the youngster has shown his preference to join them this summer.
The prospect of teaming up with Antonio Conte, coupled with Champions League football, is thought to be the deciding factor that prompted the English starlet to take this stance. That would certainly favour Spurs as it significantly boosts their chances of completing a move for the full-back.
