Transfer of Atalanta star Ruslan Malinovskyi breaks down after Tottenham Hotspur pull out of deal
Tottenham Hotspur have pulled out from the race for Atalanta BC star Ruslan Malinovskyi, according to L’Equipe via The Spurs Web on Twitter (h/t Express). The North London side had been heavily linked with the Ukrainian this transfer window.
Spurs manager Antonio Conte wants to add more firepower to his side and Malinovskyi was someone who was keen on a move to North London. However, it looks like the 29-year-old will not be moving to Tottenham this summer.
Malinovskyi is a versatile player capable of playing in various positions. For La Dea, the Ukrainian has mainly played as a number 10. In the previous campaign, the 29-year-old featured 41 times for Atalanta in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists.
Tottenham have made several new signings this transfer window. Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma and Richarlison are some of the high-profile arrivals to the club.
Conte has evidently been given the tools to strengthen the team further and add more depth to the side. And the Italian has some brilliant talent to count on up front.
Harry Kane has gotten off to a blistering start in the 2022/23 season. After scoring twice against Nottingham Forest, the England international became the player with the most goals for a single club in the Premier League.
Son Heung-min hasn’t started the new campaign on the best of notes. However, the South Korean finished last season as the joint Golden Boot winner in the PL.
The January and summer signings have also gotten off on the front foot. Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison have both
made an immediate impact in Conte’s team.More Tottenham Hotspur News
