Antonio Conte insists that no player is undroppable at Tottenham Hotspur
The South Korean international has struggled in front of goal this season. He is yet to find the back of the net, despite starting in all the games for Spurs this season.
Now, Conte has said that there are no undroppable players. In an interview quoted in the Evening Standard, the Italian coach gave his thoughts.
There are no players that are undroppable. This has to be very clear. There are no players that are undroppable.
Last season’s golden boot winner, Son has been firing blanks this season. Meanwhile, his attacking partner Harry Kane has been on fire this season.
The Englishman has also played in all eight games this season and has found the back of the net on six different occasions. The England captain, though, is yet to score in the Champions League.
Son started the last game against Sporting Lisbon too. The 30-year-old was below par as he struggled to create any good chance for himself or his team. His form is a worry for all the fans.
But the Korean was not the only one who disappointed last game. Emerson Royal too struggled and was at fault for both the goals. It remains to be seen if the Brazilian is also dropped from the squad for the next game.
