Paul Robinson believes Tottenham Hotspur will have no problem replacing Harry Kane if he leaves

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes the club will have no problem replacing Harry Kane if he leaves.

The England international’s current contract with the North London side runs out in the summer of 2024. And it is believed the future of Antonio Conte at N17 will play a big part in the 29-year-old committing his future.

However, Robinson believes the club’s growing stature over the years will help them attract quality players. However, the ex-Spurs shot-stopper, who spent four years in North London, wants the club to tie down Kane.

“Look at where Spurs are now. Look at the size and the stature of the club, the manager they have got and the fact they are in the Champions League.”

“I do not think they will have a problem attracting a top striker. The first priority has to be to keep Kane though.”

The England captain has been consistently delivering for Tottenham over the last several seasons. Breaking out in the 2014/15 campaign, the forward has become the Talisman in the North London side.

Kane has gone from strength to strength over time. The 29-year-old has won three Premier League Golden Boots. The number nine has also developed into a decent playmaker.

Under Jose Mourinho, the England international developed another facet of his game. And the Three Lions captain and Son Heung-min have formed the best duo for goal combinations in the league.

Kane has started the 2022/23 campaign on the front foot. In 16 appearances in all competitions, the 29-year-old has scored 11 goals and provided two assists. And the striker has been the only clinical forward for us this season.

While recent results against Manchester United and Newcastle United have been disappointing, Tottenham still have had a good start to the campaign. The North London side currently sit in third place in the English top flight.
