Confirmed Tottenham Hotspur starting XI to face Bournemouth in the Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League later today in what really is a must-win game for us.

Spurs are on the back of three poor results. The 2-0 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford was followed by a 2-1 defeat against Newcastle United at home.

The latest setback came against Sporting CP in the UEFA Champions League as we were denied a late goal to win the game which ultimately finished 1-1. With that in mind, it is imperative that we don’t lose today to a newly-promoted PL team.

Coming into this game, Spurs were aware of Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison’s long-term absence from injury. It remains to be seen when the two will return to the first-team fold as they are not in the matchday squad to face Bournemouth.

Tottenham’s starting XI vs Bournemouth

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Cristian Romero were doubts heading into the game against Sporting CP but both featured in our draw against manager Ruben Amorim’s side.

Bryan Gil was influential in that match, but he is on the bench with Lucas Moura for this tie. Here is the confirmed Spurs starting XI to take on Bournemouth today, as revealed on the club’s official Twitter account:

As per 11v11, the Cherries have lost seven times in their 11 games against us, drawing two in the process. We last faced them in the 2019-20 campaign, where we won 3-2 at home but drew 0-0 away.

This time, a draw won’t do. A clean sheet will be much appreciated but there is no way fans will be content if the team draws a blank today. We are fast losing touch with Arsenal and Manchester City and nothing but a win today will suffice.
