Richarlison reveals the inspirational quote taped by Antonio Conte on the Tottenham Hotspur dressing room wall
Brazilian forward Richarlison took to his Instagram (h/t Express) to reveal an inspirational quote taped by manager Antonio Conte on the walls of the dressing room at Tottenham Hotspur.
The 25-year-old returned to north London after the Selecao were eliminated from the World Cup after losing 4-2 on penalties to Croatia after the game ended 1-1 after extra time. Richarlison was one the better players for his side scoring three in four games.
Now, the 25-year-old has revealed an inspirational quote that Conte has taped on the club’s dressing room wall.
“We start to win then we see the way”
Spurs have enjoyed a decent start to the season. The north London club sit fourth on the table with 29 points after having played 15 games, eight behind rivals and leaders Arsenal.
In Europe too the Lilywhites have fared well. They finished top of the Champions League group with 11 points and will now face Serie A champions AC Milan in the Round of 16.
Richarlison, who moved to Tottenham from Everton this summer is yet to establish himself as a regular under the Italian boss. The 25-year-old has played in 15 games so far in all competitions, scoring two goals and assisting another three in the process.
However, the Brazilian international has currently undergone a scan and is expected to be sidelined for at least a month. The forward is believed to have picked up a hamstring injury during the tournament.
