Real Madrid table bid for Tottenham Hotspur target Pedro Porro
According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central (h/t Football. London), Real Madrid have tabled a bid for talented Tottenham Hotspur target Pedro Porro.
The 23-year-old right-back has been courted by Tottenham for quite some time now. The Sporting CP player is one of the most talented players in that position. It’s not a surprise that the Spaniard is targeted by many top clubs.
Porro is a former Manchester City player. He did not really get a chance to play for Pep Guardiola’s team due to the presence of Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo. He has still developed himself into a very good player.
Italy have lost a competitive home game for the first time since 08 September 1999:

Antonio Conte is supposedly very keen on signing Porro. He has identified him as his long-term solution to the right-back issue. Tottenham are struggling to find a player in that position who suits a Conte system.
The 23-year-old might be the solution to the Lilywhites’ issues but there are question marks over whether he has the physical level to succeed in the Premier League. This could be a sticking point.
However, Tottenham are willing to do everything they can to get this deal done for Conte. They are open to both a loan move with a buy option/obligation or even directly negotiating for a transfer now.
However, Real Madrid being in the race and tabling an offer for Porro spells danger for Tottenham. Being a Spaniard, there is a high chance the 23-year-old prefers a move to La Liga right now.
Playing in the Spanish top flight will help Porro catch the eyes of the national team boss and there is a chance he can get into the Spain national team soon, especially with not many exceptional right-back options.
