How long Cristian Romero will be out for following his red card against Manchester City

Tottenham Hotspur learn how long they will be without Argentinian defender Cristian Romero following the red card that he got against Manchester City in the summer, according to Football. London.

Tottenham celebrated a historic win over Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Harry Kane made the difference with his goal, breaking Jimmy Greaves’ all-time goalscoring record for the club with 266 goals.

Led by Cristian Stellini in the absence of Antonio Conte, Tottenham secured their fifth straight victory against City with Cristian Stellini leading the team. It is quite an impressive record to hold against Pep Guardiola’s team, who are usually very good at most venues.

The game was marked by some intense challenges from Rodrigo Bentancur and Cristian Romero, both receiving cautions in the first half. The latter would end up fouling Jack Grealish late in the game which saw him getting sent off.

It left Tottenham in a precarious position for the last few minutes of the game, with the club being forced to defend with just 10 men. However, they managed to see through and Romero’s red card did not hurt them on that day.

However, there is no doubt that Tottenham will have been anxious to find out for how long their star defender would miss following the booking. They have been handed positive news in that regard.

Romero has been Tottenham’s best defender ever since he made the move to N17. He has been key to the way Conte plays. His absence will be huge for the club and fortunately for them, they will miss him for just one game.

Although this is not the most ideal situation, Tottenham will know that it could have been much worse. This will see him miss the game against Leicester City but he will be back for the games after that.
