Tottenham could offer Japhet Tanganga in exchange for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic

Tottenham Hotspur may be looking to make a move in the transfer market, with InterLive suggesting that the London club could be offering Japhet Tanganga in exchange for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

The Croatian midfielder has been linked with a move away from Inter for some time now, with the Italian club’s financial problems leaving no room for sentiment. The player’s injuries have also been a reason.

Conte is reportedly a big admirer of Brozovic and could be looking to bring him to Tottenham if he remains as the club’s head coach. The Croatian midfielder was a key player for Inter during Conte’s time at the club.

Inter Milan has reportedly been interested in Tanganga for some time, and the exchange of the two players could be a win-win situation for both clubs. Inter would get the young defender they have been after, while Tottenham would get the experienced midfielder they need to bolster their midfield.

With Milan Skriniar set to leave Inter Milan in the summer for PSG, it leaves a gaping hole in the backline for the club. Tanganga could be the man to replace the former captain when he leaves Milan.

The transfer market is always unpredictable, and it’s hard to say what the future holds for both Brozovic and Tanganga. However, the potential exchange between the two clubs is certainly an interesting proposition.

It is worth noting that Inter may not want to let go of Brozovic, who is considered to be one of the most important players in their team. The Croatian has a contract with Inter until 2026, and the Italian club may not want to part ways with such an important player.

However, considering his age and the fact that he finds himself on the treatment table way too often, the Italian club might be better off cashing in on him when they can with clubs like Tottenham and Barcelona interested.

Brozovic to Tottenham makes sense but we don’t know if he can adapt to the Premier League at this stage of his career. Conte knows him better and it’s better we trust him on this.
