Tottenham Hotspur must fork out €100m to land Barcelona star Ansu Fati
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, in his column for CaughtOffside, Barcelona might sell Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Ansu Fati for €100m in the summer transfer window.
One name that has been linked with a move to Spurs amongst other English clubs in recent weeks is Ansu Fati, the young winger currently plying his trade at Barcelona. The Spaniard is struggling for game time at the Nou Camp and this has led to speculation.
Any club signing Fati currently for such a high fee would be taking a huge gamble. On the one hand, Fati is undoubtedly one of the most exciting young players in Europe right now. He burst onto the scene last season, scoring goals and providing assists with his pace, skill, and eye for goal.

Moreover, Fati’s versatility is another attribute that could make him a valuable addition to Tottenham’s squad. He can play on either wing, as well as through the middle, and he has the ability to create chances for his teammates as well as score goals himself.
However, there are also some potential downsides to signing Fati. The Spaniard has not been the same player ever since his unfortunate injuries. His price tag is incredibly high, and Tottenham would have to break their transfer record to bring him in.
