Tottenham among several clubs keen on 25-year-old Eredivisie midfield general

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in PSV Eindhoven ace Ibrahima Sangare

According to 90min (h/t Football. London), Tottenham Hotspur are amongst the club interested in PSV Eindhoven star Ibrahim Sangare.

Spurs are not the only club interested in the talented player. Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal also want Sangare. The player’s performances have made him a hot prospect for many clubs in Europe.

The 25-year-old has been one of the best players in the Dutch league this season. A defensive midfielder by trade, Sangare is also capable of playing further forward and his versatility is a blessing.

Sangare has played 37 games across all competitions this season, scoring seven goals and providing three assists. These are a rather impressive number for someone who plays a rather withdrawn role.

It is being claimed that the Dutch outfit is ready to cash in on a player who is valued a lot by clubs around the world. They will undoubtedly demand a huge fee for the player though which could throw off suitors.

Chelsea were interested in Sangare back in the summer when they saw a move for Edson Alvarez from Ajax Amsterdam fall through. The Blues however could not sing the PSV man and he stayed in the Eredivisie.

Sangare is actually a very interesting option for Tottenham. He has the quality to play for a top club in the Premier League and Spurs could do really well with having a player like him in the squad.

If a new manager takes over at Tottenham, it remains to be seen what kind of style he tries to implement at N17. He will then have to evaluate what kind of player he wants in his squad and if Sangare fits the bill.
