Tottenham determined to sign Stuttgart star Borna Sosa in the summer
According to Todofichajes, Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly set their sights on VFB Stuttgart’s left-back, Borna Sosa, for their summer transfer window.
The North London club has been battling to stabilise this position despite the emergence of Ivan Perisic and the exciting Ryan Sessegnon, so this news should not come as a surprise to supporters.
Tottenham’s scouting squad was impressed by Sosa’s performance during the World Cup in Qatar. He is a wonderful match for the club’s long-term aspirations thanks to his superb aggressive style of play and adaptability.
The 25-year-old is a major target for several elite European teams because his contract with Stuttgart is slated to expire in 2025. Although Real Sociedad and Sevilla are also interested in signing the Croatian international, it appears that Tottenham will have the upper hand due to their superior financial position.
The Spurs supporters will value Sosa’s attacking mentality, especially in light of the inconsistent play at left-back this season. Ben Davies, Ryan Sessegnon, and Ivan Perisic have all taken turns playing there, but none have been able to establish themselves as starters.
