Fabrizio Romano: Tottenham Hotspur are not pursuing Will Still

Speaking on his Here We Go podcast, popular Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are not pursuing Will Still as their next manager.

Romano stated that Tottenham will not be pursuing Still as their next manager, and that they will be looking for a different kind of manager who can handle the pressure of being in charge of a big club.

The news might come as a disappointment to some Tottenham fans who were hoping to see the club take a risk on a young, up-and-coming manager like Still. The 30-year-old has been hailed as a tactical genius by some pundits, and his impressive record at Reims this season has caught the eye of many in the football world.

However, it is understandable why Tottenham would be hesitant to appoint someone as inexperienced as Still. The club has had a tumultuous time, with two high-profile managers coming and going in quick succession.

The pressure is on for Tottenham to get their next appointment right, and there is a feeling that they need someone who has experience dealing with the challenges of managing a big club.

That being said, Tottenham should not necessarily be afraid to take a chance on a young manager. They just need to be convinced about the choice that they are making to lead the club forward.

Fabio Paratici held a meeting with Will Still regarding the Tottenham job.

Here is what Romano had to say about Tottenham and the links to Still and he quickly shut down all links.

“I don’t know who put that into the media, but I’m not aware of that. Honestly. I think Tottenham will go for a different kind of manager. With all due respect, he’s doing an excellent job there in France, but I think they will go for a different kind of manager and they need someone who can handle the pressure. Who knows what it means to be the Tottenham coach in that kind of difficult moment”

Regardless of who Tottenham end up appointing as their next manager, it is clear that the club needs to get it right this time around. The North London outfit has been in decline for a number of years now.
