Clubs in Saudi Arabia eyeing Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min transfer in 2024
Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min will be a target for clubs in Saudi Arabia in the summer of 2024, according to CBS Sports’ Ben Jacobs on Twitter.
Al-Nassr signed Cristiano Ronaldo this year after he left Manchester United. Former Real Madrid superstar Karim Benzema has also been unveiled as a new signing for Al-Ittihad in the Middle Eastern country.
Both the Saudi Pro League outfits are also eyeing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante. Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is also on the radar of teams in Saudi Arabia.

Now, efforts are underway from sides in the Middle Eastern country to entice Son next year. The South Korea international’s current contract with the North London side will expire in the summer of 2025 (transfermarkt).
Spurs signed the 30-year-old in the summer of 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen. Since then, he has been a key player for the various managers that have come through the doors at the Lilywhites.
In the previous campaign, Son enjoyed one of his best spells at Tottenham. The South Korean was our talisman and found the back of the net consistently for us. He ended up sharing the Premier League Golden Boot with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
Unfortunately, the 30-year-old has not been the same this season. The forward started off slow and has been unable to contribute considerably in the final third, with Harry Kane shouldering the burden of our attack.
Spurs also have Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison in their ranks for now. However, the Swedish national and the Brazilian did not live up to the expectations either in the 2022/23 campaign.

Still, Son has developed into one of the best players in the English top flight over the years. While he is not getting any younger, the South Korean evidently still has a few years left in the tank. But will a move to Saudi allure the 30-year-old in the coming future? Only time will tell.
