Tom Holland urges Son Heung-min and Harry Kane to leave Tottenham Hotspur for Real Madrid
Speaking in an interview as posted on Twitter by SPORTbible, English actor Tom Holland has sent a message to Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min to leave the club and move to Real Madrid.
Most famous for his role as Spider-Man on screen, the British actor has won numerous accolades across his illustrious career. However, Holland also seems to be an ardent football follower.
Tom Holland is a self-proclaimed Tottenham Hotspur fan and has admitted that it is very difficult for him to stay a fan of this club despite the fact that they seem to be winning absolutely nothing for a very long time.
In fact, the actor went on to claim that it has taught him resilience. Holland is not wrong here as being a Tottenham fan needs a lot of patience, something that is almost impossible to keep when we look at the decisions the club makes.
For years, this club has been marred by the wrong decisions in the transfer windows, bewildering managerial appointments and an absolute lack of ambition shown towards winning silverware.
This has prompted Holland to echo the sentiments of numerous Tottenham fans around the world and urge the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min (who the actor called his favourite player) to leave the club and move to Real Madrid.
When asked what he would tell Harry Kane right now, here is what the Spider-Man actor had to say
“Go to Madrid. Go and be the best player football player in the world, that you deserve to be. Son, I’d say go with him. Go together! Go and win the Champions League together, please!”
While Son’s future does seem to be at Tottenham, the same cannot be said about Harry Kane yet. The English superstar’s future might firmly lie outside the club but Daniel Levy is unlikely to sanction a sale that easily.
